As of late many services based on web computing and storing or "cloud computing" are being launched, in which any user can store date on an Internet server and have access to them anywhere in the world. The majority of these services are free and Gladinet aspires to be a union nexus among them.

  To understand Gladinet, we have to think that each storage service "in the clouds", like Google Docs, Picasa, Flickr or Skydrive is independent and it is impossible to transfer data from one to another with downloading it first, Gladinet integrate the virtual hard drives in the computer, managing that for the user, downloading and uploading a file, or opening and storing it directly in the cloud it completely transparent. Something similar to what Dropbox offers, but integrating services by other companies.

  What's more, it is possible to configure folders of other computers (for example, the office, room and living room computers) or even add an FTP as virtual unit.

  To sum up, Gladinet offers a simple way to manage that there is no difference between our virtual and local drives.
